Open July 2025, Mountain Trail Academy is Queen Creek Unified School District’s newest elementary school, located at 5626 S. Mountain Road in Mesa. Designed by SPS+ Architects and built by McCarthy Building Companies, this 90,000-square-foot campus blends modern architecture with innovative learning environments to serve up to 1,000 PK–6 students.

With 40 makerspace classrooms, collaborative seating, and a curriculum centered on STEAM education, Mountain Trail Academy is more than a school — it’s a launchpad for creativity, leadership, and discovery. Programs like Project Lead The Way and Leader in Me empower students to think critically, solve problems, and grow into confident leaders.
